What is a Sample Migration?

A sample migration is a testing mechanism that allows you to check if your data is being accurately migrated without any loss of critical information such as associations, activities, and properties.

The sample migration only migrates a small part of your entire database to give you a sense of what the end result will look like, allowing you to check for any errors in mapping, API permissions, and data types.

Once a sample migration is complete, you can adjust the mapping if you need to make any changes to the way your data reflects in your destination CRM platform. If not, you can simply proceed to starting a full migration.

A Sample Migration can only be started after the Mapping is saved.
