Mapping your Data

Learn about mapping your CRM data for migration.

After you have selected your source and destination CRM platforms, you need to map your data to before you can migrate it to the destination CRM.

Mapping is crucial to understand how your data will appear in your destination CRM.

On the mapping screen, users will find that all default properties and objects are automatically mapped.

Although you have the option to adjust the automatic mapping, we recommend you refrain from making any changes here for an accurate migration.

In case you have created any custom properties or objects in your source CRM platform, you will need to either choose or create a corresponding property or object to map it in your destination CRM platform.

Mapping two properties/objects to a single property/object is not permitted to prevent data inaccuracies. In case you map a single property/object to two different properties/objects, an error message will appear to rectify the same.

After you map all the objects and properties, you need to save the mapping to begin your Sample Migration.

  1. Mapping cannot be saved until all properties and objects have been mapped.

  2. A migration cannot be started if the mapping has not been saved.
