Mapping Users

Learn about mapping users in Switch.

Users are people who are currently added in and using your source CRM platform.

Users are associated with records in various ways depending on the way you are using your CRM platform.

When you map users, you associate your records in your destination CRM platform the same way they were associated in the source.

In case users already exist in your destination CRM platform with the same email address as your source, they will be automatically mapped. Otherwise, you will need to manually select the users from the drop-down for the destination CRM platform to map them to a user in the source.

If you do not have any users in your destination CRM platform, you can create new users from Switch.

All created users will receive an email notification to join the destination CRM platform. In case the created user does not join the destination CRM platform, they will still be associated with the mapped records; and the user will appear as inactive/yet to join depending on the platform.
